Following the General Data Protection Regulation [(EU) 2016/679], the data controller is Departamento de Investigação & Desenvolvimento of the Miguel Torga Higher Education Institute.
We do not sell, share, or transfer personal information with third parties.
PJBSR tracks the patterns of usage of pages on its site. This tracking analysis enables us to identify the most popular articles.
Other aspects of the workflow of our website do not require the use of cookies.

2. Data collected about users
Perusing and reading articles on our website does not require any personal information to be submitted from readers.
Registration on our site is optional and freely, but is expected to submit, review, or edit content. The data solicited only comprises the following points:
Identity Data:title, first name, last name, name initials, gender, username, institutional affiliation, ORCID number,bio statement (e.g., department and rank), and working languages.
Contact Data:the personal URL,email address, telephone numbers, and institutional affiliation location.
Additional Personal Data:scientific areas of interest that we will use to invite registrants as relevant potential reviewers.
Publishing a scientific paper is intrinsically a public process. The name and e-mail address of all authors of a PJBSR paper will be available to readers of PJBSR to allow scientific communication.
Assembling these e-mail addresses for commercial use is not permitted.
PJBSR itself will not send unsolicited e-mail to authors unless it directly concerns the paper they have published on PJBSR.
PJBSR will use users contact details for academic purposes (e.g., to request a review a book/article, to confirm successful submission of content, or ask authors for new works).
PJBSR reserves the right to disclose members' personal information if required to do so by law, or in good faith and belief that such action is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process, respond to claims, or protect the rights, property or safety of PJBSR members.
